The Fox River Valley Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) was organized on February 7th, 2015, with 26 members, and now has grown to 70 members. Based in Algonquin, Illinois, our chapter is proud to be part of a lineage-based membership organization for women who are directly descended from an ancestor who aided the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.

Our chapter focuses on three core areas: historic preservation, education, and patriotism. In practice, that means supporting local projects that care for meaningful historic sites, sponsoring programs and recognitions that encourage students and lifelong learning, and honoring the service and sacrifice of those connected to our nation’s founding. Through hands-on service, community partnerships, and chapter events, we work to keep Revolutionary War history relevant and accessible for future generations.
