About Our Chapter

About Us

The Fox River Valley Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) was organized in 2015 and is located in Algonquin, Illinois. Our chapter is proud to be part of a lineage-based membership organization for women who are directly descended from a person involved in the United States efforts towards independence.

As an organization, we are committed to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Our members are dedicated to perpetuating the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence by the acquisition and protection of historical spots and the erection of monuments; by the encouragement of historical research in relation to the Revolution and the publication of its results; by the preservation of documents and relics, and of the records of the individual services of Revolutionary soldiers and patriots; and by the promotion of celebrations of all patriotic anniversaries.

Our Mission
